Last updated: July 2026 ยท Email, Phone & Social Lead Extractor v1.4.0
๐ Short version: We collect nothing. All processing happens locally in your browser. No data is ever sent to any
server we operate, and we use no analytics or tracking.
1. What This Extension Does
This extension scans web pages to find and collect publicly available business-contact information โ email
addresses, phone numbers, and social-media profile links โ to help users build their own lead lists. It operates
in these modes:
Quick Scan โ reads the content of the currently active tab.
Deep Scan โ reads the current tab and fetches linked pages on the same site to look for
contact details.
Bulk Scan โ fetches a list of URLs provided by the user from an uploaded file and extracts
contact details from each.
Maps โ when you are on a Google Maps or Google Search results page and click "Scrape
Results," the extension reads the publicly displayed business listings (name, category, rating, reviews,
address) from that page. To read each business's phone number and address in full, the extension briefly
navigates your active tab to that business's own Google Maps page (one at a time, using your existing signed-in
session), reads the publicly displayed details, then returns your tab to where you started. If a business's
website is found, the extension also visits that business's own website once to look for a published contact
email address. All of this only happens after you click "Scrape Results," is limited to the number of
businesses you choose, and never sends any data to a server we operate.
2. Data We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:
The extension reads web page content (HTML and visible text) solely to identify contact-information patterns
(emails, phone numbers, social links, and publicly listed business details).
Any results found are displayed only within the extension popup and are never sent anywhere outside your
browser.
Leads you choose to save are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and remain on your device only.
URL lists uploaded via the Bulk Scan feature are processed entirely within your browser's memory and are never
uploaded to any server.
Exported CSV, JSON, TXT, and vCard files are saved directly to your local device using the browser's download
mechanism.
3. Permissions Explained
activeTab โ required to read the content of the page you are currently viewing when you
initiate a scan.
scripting โ required to execute the extraction script on the active tab's page.
sidePanel โ required to display the extension's interface as a persistent side panel instead
of a popup, so results stay visible while you browse.
storage โ required to save leads you explicitly choose to keep (via chrome.storage.local,
on your device only) and to track a temporary stop flag during an active Maps scrape (via
chrome.storage.session). Nothing under this permission is synced or transmitted anywhere.
Host permission (<all_urls>) โ required so the Deep Scan and Bulk Scan features can
fetch pages from any website you instruct it to scan, so the Maps feature can navigate to each business's own
Google Maps page to read its details, and so email enrichment can visit each business's own website. No data
from these requests is stored or transmitted beyond your local browser session.
4. Third-Party Requests
During a Deep Scan or Bulk Scan, the extension makes direct HTTP requests to websites you instruct it to scan.
During a Maps scrape, the extension navigates your own browser tab to each business's public Google Maps page and
to each business's own website, using your existing browser session โ no separate server is involved. The
extension does not load any third-party scripts, analytics, or tracking libraries, and does not sell or share any
data.
5. Local Storage
Leads you explicitly save, and your in-popup preferences, are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB and
localStorage). This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time from within the extension.
6. Children's Privacy
This extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this page with an updated date. Continued use of
the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
8. Contact
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on the extension's support page or
contact us via the Chrome Web Store listing.
